Situated 2 minutes from junction 47 on the A1, Whixley enjoys easy access to York, Harrogate, Leeds and the surrounding Yorkshire Countryside. Cattal Station is situated half a mile from the inn, Leeds Bradford Airport is 30 minutes drive.

Approaching from the A1 North or South, leave at junction 47 and follow the signs to York. Approximately 1 mile away, the is a cross roads, with small wood on the left and signposted to Whixley (left). Take this turning and follow the road to the heart of the village, where you will find the Anchor Inn directly in front of you.
